The AI identifies suspicious patterns such as tree loss or land clearing then instantly notifies forest officials on the ground allowing them to act before permanent damage occurs The technology is currently active in districts known for high deforestation risk including Shivpuri Guna Burhanpur Vidisha and Khandwa.
Unlike traditional monitoring which can take days or weeks to confirm illegal logging this new system can trigger a response within hours It is designed to catch early warning signs at a granular level as small as ten meters ensuring that no act of encroachment goes unnoticed.
Akshaya who holds a degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee believes that forest protection should evolve with technology. Inspired by the urgency of climate change and the inefficiencies of manual enforcement he decided to build something smarter, faster and scalable.
